The TELAR project has existed for eight years now, and has worked with various indigenous communities, claiming the ancestral art of the fabric. At present Gaianauta is the result of an artistic process as a whole that, besides supporting the families economy, is responsible for providing an integral well-being to the female artisans by means of Communi-yoga workshop in which the handicraft practice is encouraged. Being recognized by The World Fashion Week for the work and career of TELAR is an honor, since it is one of the most important fashion events worldwide and is distinguished for the participation of highly renowned firms, this chance represents growth opportunities for the project, for Summer as a designer and for the artisans and their families.
